UPDATE: October 22, 2025: This issue now appears to be resolved for nearly all of our books. So if you are a dedicated Amazon customer, you can purchase our books and take advantage of Prime and other Amazon perks. We are going through our listings, and if there is an issue with a particular book, we will flag it on the book page.
Amazon has stopped directly selling books from many independent publishers, including XML Press, making them available only through third-party vendors, who often price books above retail, have longer delivery times, and charge more for shipping. This affects print editions. Kindle editions are not affected by this change.
We don’t know why Amazon has made this change, but we are working through our distributor to fix this problem. In the meantime, we recommend that you avoid Amazon and check out alternate retailers. We especially like Bookshop.org, and we have set up an XML Press bookstore on Bookshop.org that has all of our books available. XML Press books can also be purchased through most major online book sellers throughout the world.
Over the next few days, we will be adding direct links on this site to our books on Bookshop.org.
I apologize for the inconvenience; I hope we can get this straightened out quickly.
