Do you have a great idea for a book that will help technical communicators? If so, we’d like to hear from you. XML Press plans to publish a small number of books each year, each one targeted to help technical communicators do their jobs more effectively.
We are looking for books that help technical communicators use XML, including DITA, DocBook, and other standards, content management systems, the Internet, and help systems. We also will consider books that address how to manage various aspects of technical communication.
Our style is concise, direct, and informal. We aim to inform, not overwhelm.
To submit a book proposal, send email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Be sure to include in your proposal a clear description of what the book is about, what the audience is, and what makes you the best person to write this book. You can read a more detailed description of what are looking for in Publishing Perspectives: Writing a Book Proposal.
