Last modified: October 29, 2017

This notice provides information about what personal information we collect and how we use that information. We value your privacy, and we only collect personally identifiable information that you provide to us so that we can provide the information or service you request.

Email Addresses

If you choose to sign up for one of our newsletters, we collect your email address and optionally your name. We use this information only to send you the email newsletters you signed up for. We do not sell, share, or use your email address, or any other personal information we collect, for any other reason, unless required to do so by law.

If we receive your email address because you gave us your business card or signed up for a webinar or other event, we may send you a message inviting you to opt-in to our newsletters. Our invitations are one-time, opt-in invitations. If you are interested, you can sign up, if not (or if you ignore the invitation), we will not send you any further messages.

Purchase information

If you purchase a product from us, we collect your name and email address (and your street address for physical shipments) so that we can send you information about updates to the product you purchased. Unless you opt in, we do not add you to our newsletter mailing list. We do not sell, share, or use your address, email address, or any other personal information we collect, for any other reason, unless required to do so by law.

Any additional information related to purchases on this site is handled entirely by our payment partners. At no time does XML Press have access to any credit card or other payment information you provide to our payment partners when you purchase a product on this site.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, which anonymously collects information about traffic on our site. Analytics uses cookies to collect information related to our site. These cookies store information about when your visit occurred, what site referred you, and whether you have visited before. Google Analytics reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.

Google’s privacy policy can be found at: http://www.google.com/privacy/privacy-policy.html. We abide by the Google Analytics Terms of Service, which prohibit the use of Google Analytics to track or collect personally identifiable information.
